A person with a hid carry license shot and wounded a person attempting to rob him at gunpoint on a CTA Inexperienced Line practice Friday afternoon close to the Cicero station, based on officers.
About 4:45 p.m., the suspected robber, 33, approached a 25-year-old man on the practice, Chicago police mentioned.
The youthful man, pulled out a firearm of his personal and a shootout ensued, police mentioned. That man had a legitimate CCL/FOID license.
The suspected robber was shot within the leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital . . . The youthful man was not struck by gunfire. . . .
