At about 11:54 PM, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester), responded to the realm of 775 Adams Avenue for a name for breaking and coming into a motorized vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers noticed the suspect, later recognized as Willieyer Barkon, 24, of Mattapan, strolling in direction of them with a sufferer saying that he noticed the suspect in his automobile. Officers tried to detain the suspect, and after a short battle, he was positioned into handcuffs. Officers carried out a pat frisk of the suspect and positioned a firearm inside his waistband. The firearm was decided to be a Smith & Wesson SD40 VE with eight rounds within the journal.
Barkon was positioned beneath arrest and charged with: Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, and Breaking and Coming into a Motor Automobile. He’s anticipated to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court docket.
