Police are investigating after a person was shot within the leg Saturday afternoon in Capitol Hill.
At about 1:30p.m., officers responded to East Denny Manner and Summit Avenue for stories of a capturing. Upon arrival, police discovered spent shell casings in a car parking zone within the 1600 block of East Olive Manner – however no sufferer. The sufferer ultimately known as 911, and officers contacted him within the 1700 block of Belmont Avenue with a gunshot wound to the leg. Seattle Fireplace Division medics handled the 50-year-old man on the scene after which transported him to Harborview Medical Middle in steady situation.
Based on the sufferer, an unknown suspect adopted him off a bus, shot him, after which fled on foot.
Police will proceed to research this incident.
