Police arrested a 19-year-old man after he fired a stolen gun in South Lake Union Wednesday night time.
At 5:09 p.m., a 911 caller reported a person had simply fired a gun on the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Denny Approach. Due to witnesses’ description of the suspect, officers noticed and arrested the person as he was leaving the world on foot. Police discovered the gun beneath a close-by car.
A data verify revealed the gun had been stolen out of a automobile, when the automobile was stolen in Capitol Hill earlier this month.
Officers booked the person into the King County Jail for illegal discharge of a weapon, illegal possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.
