A 25-year-old man on a rented scooter was killed early Friday after he was struck by two drivers on 4th Avenue.
Round 12:20 a.m., the driving force was northbound in 4800 block of 4th Avenue South when he struck the 25-year-old man, who was travelling within the northbound lanes on a rented scooter.
The motive force pulled over and located the 25-year-old man mendacity within the highway. A second motorist then struck the 25-year-old man.
SPD officers arrived and tried to supply medical help to the person, however he died on the scene.
Officers evaluated each drivers, who remained on the scene, and located no indicators of impairment. SPD Visitors Collision Detectives proceed to research.
